Introductions in English and Spanish were to be heard all around the Indigo Piping Systems facility, the venue for a reception for Indigo’s customers, suppliers and employees, all in San Francisco for the AWWA Convention. Taking advantage of the opportunity to meet face to face, deepen our relationships with our valued customers and suppliers, and enable customers and suppliers to meet each other, and building on our goal to create a network of partnerships, everyone of us put a few more bricks in the Bridge to the Future we are building together. Procurement (Part II) : Why is so important to have a Corporate Procurement Policy? |

Hello again, colleagues. This is another
big topic. There are many concerns, anyone of which, highlight the
need for a corporate procurement policy, for example: Could over-dependency
on a supplier be a problem? Is there a risk of capacity failure or
financial difficulty on the part of a supplier? Does a supplier have
the potential to exploit its position? Could one supplier’s share
of business deter other bidders? Even if “guidelines already exist,
